Affiliate disclosure

Some links on this site may earn us a referral commission when you follow them and buy a ticket. It costs you nothing extra. We would rather tell you plainly than have you wonder.

Last updated: September 2026Australian Consumer Law: clear and unambiguous

In plain English

When you click a button marked ENTER NEXT DRAW and then buy a ticket through the site we send you to, the organiser may pay us a small referral commission. We keep that commission. It does not change the price you pay, and it is not added on top of it.

We do not know who you are, we do not see what you buy, and we never receive your ticket details or payment information.

How it works here

Buttons labelled ENTER NEXT DRAW are affiliate links. Every other link on this site is an ordinary link with no commercial arrangement behind it.

Affiliate links on thehomelott.com are marked in three ways, so you can spot one before you click:

  • the button text says ENTER NEXT DRAW and opens in a new tab;
  • the underlying link carries rel="sponsored nofollow";
  • this page exists and is linked from the footer of every page and from the app’s own affiliate settings.

Some links point directly to a lottery organiser with no arrangement attached. Which links are affiliate links can change, so treat any ENTER NEXT DRAW button as potentially compensated.

What it costs you

Nothing. The ticket price is set by the organiser, and our commission is paid by the organiser out of their own margin. We do not add a fee, we do not mark up a ticket, and we never ask you to buy a second ticket to “unlock” a prize tier.

If a price on an organiser’s site ever appears to have been influenced by us, tell us immediately at hello@thehomelott.com and we will investigate.

What we never do

To be explicit about the boundaries of this arrangement:

  • We never take a percentage of any prize, winnings, or prize pool.
  • We never handle your payment, your ticket purchase, or your prize claim.
  • We never see or receive your ticket numbers, notes, name, or email address through an affiliate link.
  • We never accept payment to change a published result, a verification label, or a prize tier.
  • We never let a commercial arrangement decide what results we publish or how we label them.
  • We never use advertising networks, tracking pixels, or data brokers to build a profile of visitors.

Results are published according to the sourcing and verification process in where results come from, regardless of whether any lottery in the catalogue has an affiliate arrangement with us.

Turning links off

You are in control of how these links behave on your device. In Profile → Affiliate links you can:

  • set your own default link for every “ENTER NEXT DRAW” button;
  • override the link for any individual lottery;
  • turn our configured links off entirely with “Use my configured links”, which sends every button straight to the organiser’s own site.

These settings are stored in your browser, like the rest of your data, and never sent to us.

Current status

No affiliate links are active in this build. The ENTER NEXT DRAW buttons currently point to a placeholder destination that must be configured before launch. The catalogue itself is fictional demo data — see how we label data.

When real affiliate relationships are established, the affected lotteries will be identified here by name, and the disclosure in the app will be updated to match.
